A Guide For New Reencle Users: ReencleMicrobe Cultivation

Reencle pre-orders have been arriving all week, which means many of you are now proud owners of Reencle Prime!

While we’re so thrilled for you to experience the wonders of your very own indoor composter, we also want to make sure you know just what to do if it’s your first time using Reencle. As you probably already know, Reencle manages to turn your food waste into nutrient-rich compost thanks to the patented ReencleMicrobe™. As the backbone of the composting process in Reencle, it is important to know just how to treat and feed your Reencle, especially during the first 2-4 weeks.

For starters, we very highly recommend feeding your Reencle with carb-heavy foods. This includes lots of pasta, bread and rice. You know, our staples! In order to be as resilient as it is, ReencleMicrobe™ requires proper and healthy cultivation, to begin with. This is why Reencle can decompose foods of high acidity and high salt. Because of this, the first two weeks to a month of using Reencle is a crucial time period during which your ReencleMicrobe™ needs proper attention and care.

Once you receive your Reencle, take out the bag of ReencleMicrobe™ and put it into the “tank” along with 1.5-1.8L of water. Only place food waste into Reencle after 18-24 hours have passed since the previous steps. As we mentioned, it’s highly recommended that you feed Reencle with carb-heavy foods for the first 2-4 weeks.

You can also refer to the visual guide below to get a clearer description of the aforementioned steps!
